Campaign Advisers Face S&T Questions

On 16 February 2008, advisers to the U.S. presidential campaigns of Clinton and Obama outlined their candidates' S&T plans and took questions from a full audience at the AAAS Annual Meeting. The dialogue was moderated by New York Times science journalist Claudia Dreifus and the representatives were Thomas Kalil, adviser for science, technology and innovation for Clinton's campaign and Alec Ross, adviser on technology, media and telecommunications for Obama's campaign.

The questions and answers were recorded by REALscience and you can listen to the audio (Real player) or download it for playback later (Zip archive containing an MP3 file).

Read questions that were submitted in writing by members of the audience at the AAAS Annual Meeting's presidential campaign forum. Should answers be received from the campaigns, they will be listed with their respective questions.
